If you are interested in a being a DJ for ROCKR. First note that our DJ's volunteer which means there is no pay involved. If you are still interested, then read on.

If you can provide feedback to the items below and send your responses in an e-mail to DJ Craig, that would be a great start:

1.   Name many of your favorite bands.
2.   How many MP3's do you have in your library and can you e-mail me a Catalog of your MP3 library? If you just want to include artist and album, that is fine too.
3.   Are your MP3's tagged? If not, they must be in order for you to play them on the station. This is a federally regulated requirement.
4.   Have you ever been a DJ before and if so, when and for how long? No prior experience necessary, I would just like to know.
5.   Do you have a copy of SAM DJ Broadcaster Software?
6.   Send a recording of your voice! Preferably, I would like to hear at least 20 seconds and you may choose to introduce a song and band and elaborate as little or as much as you like. If you want to read a book, article or other, that is fine as  well.
7.   What time of day and on what days would you be interested in doing a live spot? Be sure to list your time zone.

This sounds like a lot but I really don't have much expectations of the DJ's except to stick with the genre and don't play Rap, Country or deviate too far from Classic Rock. If it all works out, I will follow up with you on specifics.
